Elmore Medical Donates PPE to Hinds Hospice

Nationwide - and right here in the Central Valley - medical-grade PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), which include things like masks, gloves, gowns and other items, are running dangerously low.

Since our medical specialty falls into the category of non-essential services, our office is temporarily closed. During this closure, Elmore Medical has donated our supply of exam gloves, gowns, and masks to Hinds Hospice who have had difficulty in procuring PPE supplies for their employees and patients.

Hinds Hospice has provided hospice care to the communities of Fresno, Madera and Merced counties since 1981. The Hinds Hospice team consists of a professional staff of 190 and over 300 devoted volunteers. They are committed to helping those living with a terminal condition, their caregivers and those who have lost a loved one.

In addition to personal protective equipment, Elmore Medical has also donated other in-demand items such as; disinfectant wipes, alcohol, and hydrogen peroxide.

We encourage other ‘non-essential’ medical providers to consider donating similar supplies during this challenging time. We are all in this together, and Elmore Medical remains committed to helping our community through this unprecedented crisis.
